Overview
To create a networking connection to a Cardshark device from a Linux host machine, the host machines networking configuration must be compatible with the default IP address of the Cardshark.
We recommend reviewing the following:
The PAN+ port uses a typical Ethernet connection while the HOST/HST port relies on USB Gadget Mode. The default IP addresses for each of these connectivity options differ slightly.
- PAN+ Port IP: 192.168.88.1
- HOST/HST Port IP: 192.168.55.1

Testing Your Network Connection
You can test you network connection by running one of the following commands replacing ** with the values corresponding to the connectivity method you are using:
Form an SSH connection: ssh cardshark@192.168.**.1
Ping the device: ping 192.168.**.1
